Welcome to the blog of the Hurricane Ridge Ski Patrol. We are a volunteer ski patrol at Hurricane Ridge Ski and Snowboard Area in Washington State. Hurricane Ridge is a small club run ski area in Olympic National Park, outside of Port Angeles, Washington. We've got two rope tows and a poma platter serving 800 vertical feet of some of the most scenic ski runs anywhere. Hurricane Ridge is usually open on weekends only from mid December through the end of March.

As part of the National Ski Patrol our main commitment is to regularly train and perform emergency first aid for skiers and snowboarders at Hurricane Ridge. New members join up as candidates for their first year. As a candidate, you can assist the patrol, learn about what we do, and get to know the area. To become a full member, you receive first aid and toboggan handling training. Outdoor Emergency Care, the National Ski Patrol's first aid education is virtually equivalent to an EMT program with added emphasis on winter and outdoor recreation hazards.

where shopping anywhere else (especially for produce!) just makes me angry. Why Publix and Kroger feel that onions should be priced at over $1/lb and yet Super H can consistantly sell them for 1/3 of that price is beyond me. Check out the prices on whole beef tenderloins, rib eye roasts and seafood too. Sometimes they even price the lobsters at $4.99/lb!macys insite
